The Other - Sex, Drugs and Grace

Grace is something gold cannot buy. It is a spiritual drug. The material form of Grace is Art.

Art is a breath of life, pure and exciting, inspiring. It is beautiful and indescribable and everyone knows it by that specific feeling, even if they cannot describe it.

My goal is to create artworks that work in an intimate space - works that transform areas by their breathing, by the aura they create.
The feeling and thoughts that go into the artwork can be reproduced in the viewer and influence their life.  This is at the heart of what I think of as Art.

There is a positive energy in the world - often we are afraid to take it or we believe that it is a thing to be sacrificed in order to gain material possessions, status or other immediate desires.  Art can permanently bring this powerful, contradictory, nuclear energy into people and their surroundings.  Art is a freedom and everyone that participates in Art enjoys that freedom- after all, Art is a material form of Grace.

Grace is a spiritual drug – but it is more sex than alcohol.
