Magic Places

We are fascinated by the deep feeling of unexplainable sense that one gets in special places, or at special moments, or in special states.  Revelations.  The strong sense of unseen presence.  The feeling of inner connection with the unknown.

Magic places.  Like the Zone of Tarkovsky’s Stalker.  Like all of Tarkovsky’s films.

Existence goes beyond rational explanations and justifications.  This means that not every event or thing can be understood rationally.  Moreover, we believe, that in actual fact nothing can be fully explained rationally.  Mind, mental processing and rationality are only the tools to use in our experience of the world, not the limitations that we ought to apply to it.

The feeling we are trying to explore in this project is the connection with God and the sense of His presence.  It is also the communication with the immortal, spiritual part within us.
